According to a report from ProWrestlingSheet.com, former WWE Superstar Wade Barrett will be returning to WWE this Wednesday night during NXT. He’ll be working on the commentary team, likely replacing Mauro Ranallo who is at home in Canada tending to a family matter.
As of this writing, there is no word on if Barrett has signed a full-time contract to return to WWE but all signs point to this being a one-shot deal.
Barrett left WWE in 2016 and worked as a member of the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) commentary team.
