WWE is reportedly close to booking a former WWE Champion who will be appearing at Monday’s ‘Day 1’ episode of RAW.
According to a report from Fightful Select, several WWE sources are indicating that the company is “on the one yard line” as it pertains to bringing in the former WWE Champion. It is said that WWE officials are “confident” that the deal will be made.
As of this writing, all that is known is that it is someone who is not currently on the WWE roster. It’s also unknown whether it’s an active or retired wrestler.
