According to a report from Fightful, WWE pulled Xia Li’s planned amateur kickboxing fight. WWE officials only heard about it when the news surfaced online, which was just days before it was supposed to go down. While many in WWE understood why the company pulled her from the event, Li was said to have been upset and didn’t understand why, thinking WWE “wasn’t giving her respect.”
It should also be noted that Li’s increased presence on the NXT brand in recent months was due to her being frustrated and going directly to Triple H. “The Game” was said to have been appreciative of Li coming directly to him and expressing her frustrations.
