WWE NXT 2.0 Superstar Roderick Strong wants out of WWE and feels “beaten down,” Dave Meltzer has claimed.
In May, it was reported that Strong had requested his release multiple times from WWE, but each request has been turned down.
On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer said that Strong, a former NXT North American Champion, is continuing to seek a WWE exit:
“Roderick’s fantastic, but, you know, he’s pretty beaten down. I’m not talking about physically, I mean I’m talking about just the way he’s booked and everything like that. You know, and he’s asked to get out, he’s not allowed to get out. So, he’s in that weird state, you know, where he’s somewhere he doesn’t want to be basically.”
After a lengthy run in PWG and Ring of Honor, Strong joined NXT in 2016 and is the sole remaining member of the Undisputed Era.
