After 251 days at the top of the Ring of Honor tag team mountain, FTR have been dethroned. The Briscoes are your new ROH tag team champions after besting FTR in a bloody and brutal fight at Final Battle 2022. This is the 13th title reign for Dem Boyz, who lost the tag belts to Dax and Cash at Supercard of Honor XV.
The two teams fought in a double dog collar match and all four men came out bleeding. Even referee Mike Posey ended up getting busted open. In the end, Dax Harwood was caught in a submission and passed out before Cash Wheeler could save him.
Things got worse for FTR after the match, as Austin & Colten Gunn ran out and attacked them. The Briscoes would eventually make the save after the Gunns said they wanted to kill FTR’s legacy.
