WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns is set to appear even less than usual over the course of this summer.
Last month, Reigns signed a new, lucrative contract with WWE that will see him wrestle far fewer matches and appear on TV less.
On the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that Reigns is scheduled to have just one RAW appearance this summer. He said,
“He’s never on RAW. Almost never on RAW. The only time Reigns is going to be on RAW is the RAW from Madison Square Garden. That’s his only RAW booking. The only time the champion will be on RAW pretty much the whole Summer.”
Monday Night RAW will air from MSG on July 25, which will be the go-home show before WWE SummerSlam 2022.
Though not confirmed, it’s rumored that Reigns will face RAW Superstar Randy Orton at SummerSlam.
