While there have been several rumors floating around over the weekend that Keith Lee has been released from WWE, that is not the case. As many of you know, Lee hasn’t been featured on WWE television since February. During that time, there were some reports that he was being sent back to the WWE Performance Center to work on his in-ring skills.
In an update on this, Lee simply has not been cleared to return to the ring yet. Back in March, Lee was sidelined for undisclosed health reasons. Similar to Daniel Bryan, Lee is very private when it comes to talking with those backstage about his contract status or what he’s dealing with.
