Dave Meltzer said on today’s edition of Wrestling Observer Radio that Goldust could be transitioning into a manager role. As seen on Monday’s RAW, Goldust will be naming a wrestler that he will align with at SummerSlam or will be at the event to scout someone.
Regarding his feud with R-Truth, the feeling within the company was that it was a flop. The company thinks rather than using Goldust in a mid-card role, they could use his mic skills and name value to help elevate another wrestler.
