The reasoning behind WWE making the call to release longtime agent Arn Anderson has surfaced online. As noted, Anderson was let go in February due to an incident at a live event.
Wrestling Inc is reporting that Anderson was fired because Alicia Fox showed up at the event intoxicated. It turns out that Anderson was the agent for her match and allowed her to perform.
WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon was reportedly furious when he found out and it was the final straw.
As of this writing, Fox’s status with the sports entertainment company is unclear. It should be noted that she was not backstage at Raw last week, and hasn’t wrestled since the February 10th live event in Saginaw, Michigan.
