After joining AEW last year, Rush’s contract is set to expire this year. He hasn’t appeared on television since the May 24th episode of Rampage, where he worked a trios bout.
Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that AEW and WWE are interested in him. AEW has reportedly made a strong offer for him to stay.
Rush reacted to fan speculation about what he will do by writing the following on Twitter:
“Good thing I study english, i’ve had to read a lot lately. You will hear from me very soon, just remember nothing happens unless I say so..”
