As seen on Monday’s episode of RAW, Sami Zayn held back from attacking Kevin Owens.
In recent weeks, there has been a lot of talk that Zayn and Owens may reunite to take on the Usos once the Bloodline inevitably turns on Sami.
On RAW, Zayn refused to hit Owens with a chair during the latter’s match with Jey Uso. Of course, this has added fuel to the fire. Zayn took to Twitter on Wednesday in an attempt to clarify things. He wrote,
“To clarify, I didn’t hit Kevin Owens because I felt the ref could see me in his periphery and I didn’t want to cause Jey Uso to lose by DQ.
I’ve explained this to The Bloodline and the issue has been resolved. Friday’s championship celebration will proceed as planned. Thank you.”
Of course, Zayn is referring to Roman Reigns and The Bloodline’s Championship Celebration that has been booked for Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown.
