At Saturday’s WWE Money in the Bank 2023 pay-per-view event, Shayna Baszler attacked Ronda Rousey during their Women’s Tag Team Championship match against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. This led to the latter recapturing the titles.
On this week’s episode of RAW, Ronda Rousey came to the ring and demanded that Shayna Baszler come out and explain why she attacked her. Baszler didn’t waste any time, storming to the ring while telling Rousey that if it wasn’t for her, she’d never have been in WWE. Baszler went on to say that Rousey wasn’t there for her during her worst days, including when she was setting up the ring and working indie events in front of 30 people. Baszler said Rousey had been handed everything on a silver platter, and she was sick of it.
The two women then brawled, with Baszler hitting Rousey with a running knee strike.
