Shelton Benjamin Addresses A Potential Hurt Business Reunion

In recent weeks, WWE has been teasing a potential reunion of The Hurt Business. MVP has attempted to recruit the former members of the faction back together again, making an offer to Bobby Lashley and then trying to help Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander against The Street Profits.

On this week’s episode of WWE’s “The Bump,” Benjamin noted that although MVP seems to be pushing for a potential Hurt Business reunion, he is just not ready to commit at the moment. Benjamin said,

“If you ask MVP, maybe. If you ask me and Cedric, we still got some kinks to work out before we can commit to that. Obviously, Bobby’s got some things going on of his own, so there are a lot of moving parts. Are we interested? Of course. We’re businessmen. We’re listening. But at this point, I can’t confirm that the Hurt Business is gonna get back together.”

The Hurt Business performed on RAW from 2020 to 2022, before reforming again in early 2023 as a tag team of Benjamin and Alexander with Omos and MVP later thrown into the mix. The stable disbanded on the January 10, 2022 episode of RAW following MVP and Lashley’s departure.

While fans are yearning for The Hurt Business to feud with The Bloodline ahead of WrestleMania 39, MVP, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, and Cedric Alexander must regroup in order to give a fair chance to the potential storyline.
