Singles Match Set For ROH Best In The World PPV

There are very few men that have pinned Jay Lethal. One of the most dominant ROH World Champions in the title’s history and the longest-ever reigning World Television Champion, Lethal has vowed to avenge any loss he has had before he attempts to once again win a ROH World Championship once again.

With recent victories over Punishment Martinez, Mark Briscoe, and Matt Taven, Lethal has defeated three men that have handed him three of his most recent losses. But one loss has really stuck out in the man known as The Franchise’s mind: his loss against former ROH World Television Champion KUSHIDA!

At Best in the World, Lethal gets another opportunity to face KUSHIDA!

JAY LETHAL vs. KUSHIDA

For the first time in over a year, Jay Lethal takes on KUSHIDA! The two met for the first time in 2014 where Lethal pinned KUSHIDA with the ROH World Television Championship on the line! In the rematch, three years later, both men had seen their careers grow, Lethal now a former World Champion and KUSHIDA a five-time IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion and former ROH World TV Champion, and it was KUSHIDA that pinned Lethal to even their career series at 1 and 1!

KUSHIDA’s victory propelled him to a ROH World Television Championship victory just days later in Philadelphia against Marty Scurll and launched him to a different level while Lethal continued to have brawls across the world with Silas Young. Now, these two will finally meet once again in a rematch with Lethal looking to avenge his loss!
