During the latest episode of the Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that some in WWE felt Bray Wyatt’s run as The Fiend damaged the babyfaces he faced. After originally commenting on the rumors surrounding WWE wanting to turn Judgment Day into a supernatural stable, the conversation turned to Wyatt.

Meltzer commented on how despite Wyatt’s high merchandise sales, the way his matches were booked arguably damaged the babyfaces he faced worked against him according to some in WWE:

“The argument against him was that with the exception of Daniel Bryan, pretty much everybody he worked with got destroyed by him and was left for s*it and had to rebuild and had to turn heel. Granted Miz turning heel probably was gonna happen anyways because he wasn’t that great a babyface. Seth turning heel because they absolutely destroyed him as a babyface, that’s absolutely due to the Bray Wyatt thing and the booking of the Bray Wyatt thing so you know, there was the argument he was more harm than good, other than the fact he sold a lot of merchandise.”
