WWE was in Winter Park, FL at Full Sail University on Wednesday night for the NXT TV tapings. Here are the spoilers.
Jeet Rama defeats Chase Adams
Spoilers for the July 25 episode:
– Singles Match: Adam Cole defeated Sean Maluta. Post-match, Cole cuts a promo about being the most buzzworthy superstar on any brand. This led Ricochet out to challenge Cole to a match in Brooklyn. Cole declines the challenge, Ricochet calls Cole a coward, which led to Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly coming out. Undisputed Era tried to sneak away but got attacked by Mustache Mountain.
– Singles Match: Lacey Evans defeated Tenilla Price
– Tag Team Match: Heavy Machinery defeated The Mighty after The Mighty was distracted by Street Profits.
– Tag Team Match: Mustache Mountain defeated State Line
– Singles Match: EC3 defeated Kona Reeves. Velveteen Dream came out mid-match while cutting a promo on EC3.
Spoilers for the August 1 episode:
– NXT Title Match: Tomasso Ciampa defeats Aleister Black ©. The finish of the match saw the referee taking a bump, Johnny Gargano ran in at the end, attacked Ciampa and Black. Ciampa got the better of it and pinned Black to win the title
– Singles Match: Nikki Cross defeated Amber Nova
– Undisputed Era attack Ricochet during his entrance. This led to Adam Cole saying he’s not a coward.
– Singles Match: Kassius Ohno defeats Adrian Jaoude
Spoilers for the August 8 episode:
– Singles Match: Keith Lee defeats Marcel Barthel
– Mae Young Classic Qualifying Match: Taynara Conti defeats Vanessa Bourne
– Tag Team Match: Street Profits defeat The Mighty
– Tommaso Ciampa comes out to the ring where he cuts a promo about how this is now his NXT and that all he needed was one moment. He gloats about how he wins and Gargano loses once again. Aleister Black walks out to attack Ciampa but Johnny Gargano runs right by him and attacks Ciampa. Gargano says it’s not Ciampa’s NXT as long as he’s still breathing. Aleister hits Gargano with a kick. Aleister says Gargano is the only reason Ciampa is champion.
Spoilers for the August 15 episode:
– Singles Match: Tyler Bate defeated Roderick Strong
– Velveteen Dream out for a promo on EC3 and tells the crowd he doesn’t bother them at Burger King so they should stop interrupting. This led to crowd chants Burger King, Dream tells them he knows Full Sail is used to having it their way but it’s The Dream’s time now. It was announced that Dream vs. EC3 would take place at Takeover.
– Singles Match: Johnny Gargano vs Aleister Black ends once Tomasso Ciampa attacks both guys and the referee throws the match out. William Regal walks out and books Gargano vs. Black vs. Ciampa at Takeover for the NXT Title.
