WWE taped tonight’s edition of SmackDown on Tuesday from Washington, DC at the Verizon Center. Here are the spoilers for tonight’s WWE SmackDown broadcast.
– Dolph Ziggler makes his way down to the ring to open the show and cuts a promo about becoming the IC champion. He announces that he will be in the IC title ladder match at WrestleMania. He then calls out Daniel Bryan, but Bad News Barrett interrupted. Bad News said that Ziggler can give it to him or he will take it from him. This leads to a brawl that sees Harper, Truth and Dean Ambrose run down to the ring. Truth runs to the back with the title without being seen.
– Tyson Kidd and Cesaro defeated Los Matadores in a tag team match.
– Big Show defeated Ryback after Kane interfered and distracted Ryback leading to Big Show hitting the WMD.
– The Bella Twins are in the ring and cut a promo about says that since AJ Lee has been gone, she’s been giving the Divas a chance to grow and gain more respect. Brie challenges AJ to a match.
– AJ Lee defeated Brie Bella with the Black Widow.
– Daniel Bryan cuts a promo backstage about winning the IC title at WrestleMania.
– The New Day defeated Miz and Mizdow in a tag team match.
– Jack Swagger cuts a backstage promo about being the Andre the Giant battle royal at WrestleMania 31 and facing Rusev.
– Roman Reigns cut a backstage promo on Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar. He said he knows that he might be hurt by Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania, but not defeated. He will hit the Superman punch and then the spear to become the World Heavyweight champion.
– Rusev defeated Jack Swagger in a singles match. After the match, Curtis Axel cut a promo about becoming the next U.S champion.
– Dolph Ziggler and Dean Ambrose defeated Luke Harper and Bad News Barrett in a tag team match. Ziggler hit the Zig Zag on Barrett for the win. After the match, R-Truth tries to take the IC title, but Daniel Bryan stops him and takes it from him. He starts to celebrated on the stage, but Stardust attacked him from behind. He poses with it while standing on a ladder that is placed on the stage. This is how SmackDown ends.
