Sting responded to a message on Twitter from Ric Flair today regarding the ratings success of the AEW Holiday Bash special event featuring the AEW Trios match with CM Punk, Sting and Darby Allin defeating the team of MJF and FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood).
For those who missed it, late last week, Flair took to social media to send some praise to Sting for helping draw big numbers on the 12/22 edition of the weekly AEW on TNT television program.
“Congratulations Sting,” wrote Flair. “I’ve been telling the world, when you’re great you’ll always get a rating! Everyone else can dare to dream! WOOOOO!”
Flair added, “You just became at the age of 62, the MVP of AEW!”
On Monday evening, “The Icon” took to his own Twitter page to shoot a response back to “The Nature Boy.”
“Love you Ric,” Sting replied. “But giving credit where credit is due – all 6 of us drew a rating and CM Punk leads the pack.”
