Sting’s wrestling career will be coming to an end at the 2024 AEW Revolution pay-per-view event.
On this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, the “Icon” came out to cut a promo about his future in wrestling. The WWE Hall of Famer started by saying that his retirement in 2015 never felt right to him. He went on to thank the likes of Dusty Rhodes, Lex Luger, The Steiner Brothers, Buff Bagwell, Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, and others.
The Stinger ended his promo by saying that he’d be having his last match at the AEW Revolution 2024 pay-per-view event.
AEW Revolution often takes place in March. The date and location for next year’s event have yet to be announced as of now.
