Sting’s AEW Debut Brings Big Numbers On YouTube & Google

As many of you know by now, Sting made his AEW debut on Wednesday night’s episode of Dynamite. According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Sting generated a lot of interest in terms of Google and YouTube.

The WWE Hall of Famer was the #10 most searched topic for December 3rd. With that being said, there were only 20,000 searches, but nothing from AEW TV after the first week has trended, and many things from WWE usually don’t.

Pat Patterson was #7 the day before with 200,000 searches.

We reported yesterday here on eWn that Sting’s first AEW t-shirt broke the record for most shirts sold in a 24 hour period on Pro Wrestling Tees.

Also, the video of Sting’s debut on AEW’s YouTube page drew 1.5 million views in just over 24 hours.
