Storyline Plan Updates: Daniel Bryan & Brock Lesnar

Source: The Wrestling Observer Newsletter

— Despite WWE changing their stance on the “YES!” chants and Daniel Bryan’s popularity continuing, the plan as of this past week was still for the Bryan vs. Sheamus feud to end at Extreme Rules and for Alberto Del Rio to step up and feud with Sheamus. Extreme Rules will be interesting as Bryan likely will be cheered big time by the Chicago fans.

— As noted earlier, WWE is still in the early stages of deciding on who will face Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 29. At this time, the top choices are The Rock, The Undertaker and Steve Austin. The WrestleMania 29 match will be the final one on Lesnar’s one-year WWE deal.

— As noted earlier, WWE feels that Beth Phoenix vs. Kharma could be a big money match for the division. Word is that they do not want to rush things; instead they want to build it for the right PPV, possibly Summerslam.

— Beth Phoenix posted the following on Twitter, regarding fan support while she is “injured”…

“Thank u for the outpour of support…for all those wondering if I will be at the @navypier signing in #chicago on Saturday, I will be fulfilling all of my #WWE appearance obligations. Nothing will keep me from thanking the @WWEUniverse for being Glamfans. See u there!”

“I dont know where I would be without the love of my life. He has kept my spirits high during this tough week of pain and disappointment.”
