TMZ.com is reporting that prosecutors have dropped the domestic violence charges against former WWE Superstar Adam Rose. The site notes that the charges and case were dropped because Rose proved to the judge that he’s getting professional help for his marital issues. Rose’s wife almost went before the judge and begged for leniency, saying that she was not hurt and that the situation was blown out of proportion. She almost told the judge Rose was getting counseling from his pastor and she believed he was responding positively to it.
As reported last month here on eWrestlingNews.com, Rose was arrested for grabbing his wife’s face after the two had a late-night argument. When the wife attempted to call 911, Rose took a phone away from her. At the time of his arrest, Rose was serving a WWE suspension for a Wellness Policy violation. WWE then suspended him indefinitely due to the company’s zero tolerance domestic violence policy. As you know by now, Rose later went on to request his WWE release and it was granted.
