According to a report by Dave Meltzer in the most recent Wrestling Observer Newsletter, The Elite turned down seven-figure deals from WWE in their most recent negotiations.
Of course, Cody and The Young Bucks, along with others, are expected to have a hand in something called All Elite Wrestling. The crew wrestles what is expected to be their last major NJPW date on January 4. Before that, they have a countdown clock ticking down on their web series Being The Elite which will go off on January 1.
With one of the most anticipated announcements in modern wrestling history on the horizon, January can’t come fast enough.
