With the big news on Friday that Vince McMahon would be retiring from WWE, last night’s episode of SmackDown saw an increase in the ratings department.
According to a report from Spoiler TV, Friday night’s episode of WWE SmackDown on FOX brought in 2.166 million viewers, with a 0.55 demo rating. This is up from last week’s overnight numbers, which brought in 1.976 million viewers and a 0.4 demo.
Based on the overnights, hour one of SmackDown brought in 2.114 million viewers (0.5 demo), while hour two brought in 2.218 million viewers (0.6 demo).
WWE SmackDown ranked #1 in the key 18-49 demo for the night. A rerun of ABC’s 20/20 topped the night with the most viewers at 2.704 million.
The final numbers will be out on Monday.
