History was made at Elimination Chamber when Sasha Banks and Bayley were crowned the inaugural WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
Last night on Raw, the duo announced that the championship will be defended across all three brands of WWE. Yes, that includes NXT.
This is very exciting news as it opens the field of competition and potentially makes this championship more exciting and desirable than any other. Time will tell how this tri-branded trophy works out, but it’s definitely an exciting time for the women of WWE.
