TNA Wrestling Officially Debuts On The POP TV Network – How Did The Show Do Ratings-Wise?

As previously reported, TNA Wrestling debuted on POP TV on Tuesday night, The show got off to a fairly solid start on POP TV. Tuesday night’s “Best of 2015” episode, which was the first broadcast on their new cable network home, brought in 111,000 viewers and a 0.03 rating in the 18 – 49 demmographic.

While those numbers are low compared to what the show did in its start on Destination America last year — and indeed, they’re down 28% and a tenth from last week’s final iMPACT! on their now-former home — it’s a decent start for the show considering that it wasn’t new programming and it’s now on a network with less market penetration than Destination America. Ultimately we won’t know where ratings will normalize until new content begins airing with the live Impact debut on January 5th.
