As we reported last night here on eWn, Ashante “Thee” Adonis has been pulled from the Dusty Rhodes Tag-Team Classic after being assaulted by Karrion Kross on last night’s WWE NXT broadcast. Adonis and Desmond Troy’s match against Tony Nese & Ariya Daivari will no longer take place on this week’s 205 Live broadcast and it appears both men are out of the tournament.
Following last night’s WWE NXT broadcast, Tommaso Ciampa approached Timothy Thatcher and teased teaming together in the Dusty Rhodes Tag-Team Classic.
William Regal tweeted the following today, confirming the new pairing:
