During a recent appearance on “The Sessions with Renee Paquette” podcast, AEW star Toni Storm revealed that she was contacted to appear at the ROH Supercard of Honor event prior to AEW President Tony Khan purchasing the company.
Storm said the former owners of Ring of Honor contacted her about appearing on the show “before Tony Khan bought Ring of Honor.” She added, “But when I was contacted about that the thought of me wrestling again, I was like, ‘Ooh, hey, I would like to do that.’ Something clicked … It’s the best job in the world and it shouldn’t be a misery.”
Toni Storm made her AEW debut on the March 30th episode of AEW Dynamite.
