Toni Storm quit WWE earlier this week as the company granted her release.
Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Storm was never booked for the house show in Washington, DC, but WWE made a last-minute decision that morning at 8AM to have her fly out to the show.
Storm is walking away from a good-money deal as she decided to leave the company because she was burned out. Also, Storm publicly talked about being frustrated about going to SmackDown just to sit in catering.
