Tony Schiavone Names WWE Matches He Wishes He Got The Chance To Call

Tony Schiavone wishes he was able to call the action for Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker at WrestleMania 25.

In April 2009, Michaels and the Phenom stole the show in both men’s home state of Texas.

The Undertaker would win the match, extending his WrestleMania record to 17-0.

During the latest ‘On Demand: Ask Tony Anything,’ Schiavone named the match when asked which WWE bout does he wish he could have called.

“You’re not going to find a better match than that ever.”

Schiavone also mentioned Shawn’s match with Ric Flair from the previous year’s WrestleMania as another great contest.

“I wouldn’t have minded calling Flair’s last match with Shawn Michaels, you know the ‘I’m sorry, I love you.’ That would have been pretty cool to call that one as well, to be a part of it.”

Schiavone signed with AEW in August of 2019 and serves as a commentator and interviewer.
