The WWE Performance Center is one of, if not the best place in the world to train in the art of pro wrestling, however, WWE is quite secretive about what happens behind closed doors. Triple H, the brains behind the Center, sat down with The National where he discussed what a WWE tryout is like and how the WWE decides who makes the cut and who doesn’t.
âWe will scour, we will go through those people, we will talk to them, we will whittle that down to the best of the best. Weâll bring them in to try out for us. Theyâll come in for a few days, weâll put them through some really hard stuff. But weâre not just looking to wear them out physically because what weâre looking for is how they handle that, mentally. What becomes of them? Are they leaders? When they get tired, do they help the person next to them, or do they push the person next to them down, to try to succeed, themselves? Itâs all part of the process. Weâll then find talent, that we believe have the skill set and the right mentality to become WWE Superstars. Weâve become very successful at that whittling down process. Weâll begin to look at them. Whether we bring them here, whether we bring them at first to the UK, when we feel like weâre beginning to see enough of that passion process and enough boiling up to the top, that weâre ready and weâre already looking at the process, I donât want to say itâs like weâre waiting, we will have all the steps in place to then begin to execute a Performance Center.â
With a second Performance Center recently opening in the U.K. along with the emergence of NXT UK, the WWE has set itself up for international as well as domestic success in the future.
Secondly, Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey are set to go one on one at Wrestlemania 35 for the RAW Women’s title, however, Ronda Rousey’s undefeated streak could come to a crashing halt at the Showcase of the Immortals. Bryan Alvarez reported on WOL that he is almost sure Lynch is winning the title.

âOkay, I will say again Iâve been wrong before, Iâve looked stupid before. But Iâd say thereâs a 99% chance that Becky is leaving with that title.â
Whether or not Becky dethrones the so called “Baddest Woman on the Planet” remains to be seen, but rumors have run rampant that WWE has been planning Ronda’s first loss. In addition, if the rumors of Rousey leaving WWE after Wrestlemania are true, she would have to drop the title to The Man anyway.
