Two new champions were crowned on Night One of NWA 75.

Max the Impaler dethroned Kenzie Paige to win the NWA Women’s World Television Title, thereby ending Paige’s inaugural reign at 142 days.

You can check out some highlights from the match below:

Also, Silas Mason defeated JR Kratos and Odinson to win the NWA National Heavyweight Title. The championship was vacated by EC3.

On a recent edition of the “MuscleManMalcolm” podcast, Deonna Purrazzo discussed her mindset as she prepares to reclaim the Impact Wrestling Knockouts World Championship from Trinity at Impact Emergence 2023. She said,

“I think being The Virtuosa, at my core, means I’m an ultimate strategist. So I have to go back, I have to watch Slammiversary. I have to pick it apart. How did we end up in that submission? How do I not let that happen again? I think for me, it’s just gameplay, and it’s studying and watching and going back and learning from it mistakes and making sure that in the ring, I’m prepared for that situation, and I know how to get myself out of that situation.”

On a recent edition of the “Better Than Broadway” podcast, Jonathan Gresham named Bryan Danielson as the only remaining wrestler he wants to compete against.

According to Gresham, he and Bryan could’ve already gone toe-to-toe had he stayed with AEW longer.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On the sort of match he would expect against Danielson: “I don’t know, give me 30 minutes, maybe an hour, two out of three falls. We wouldn’t go the hour though.”

On how the match might have come about earlier: “There was talk from the office at the old Ring Of Honor because I think at the time I don’t think [Danielson] was signed anywhere. I think they were trying to get him to come in and do some stuff in Ring Of Honor around the time I had just lost the Pure title or something. Because a lot of the guys were coming to us like, ‘Oh man, they’re talking to Danielson right now.’ So I think it definitely would have happened, right now who knows if it will ever happen.”
