Ember Moon was set to face Sarray in the opening match on Tuesday’s episode of NXT. Shortly before the show started, it was announced that Moon was unable to compete and instead, Dakota Kai was placed into the match.
In a report at the time of the card change, Fightful Select reported that Moon was not cleared to compete, though they were not told the exact reason why that was the case.
In an update from PWInsider, it was confirmed that the issue was “not serious”, and that Moon was in fact backstage for the episode of NXT.
The report would also state that despite the rumors surrounding the current plans for NXT’s future, Triple H remained the man in charge of Tuesday’s show.
