Former AEW World Champion Chris Jericho has called on Hillsborough Schools to step in in response to his niece being attacked by students.
On Twitter, Jericho showed footage of the attack, saying that his family have been calling on Mulrennan Middle School for months to help but have received no support.
Jericho also stated that he will discuss this with ABC Action News if the school continues to take no action.
In the video, a young girl, presumably Jericho’s niece, is seen being punched by another student while a circle of others watches on.
Several TV reporters responded to Jericho’s post, asking for more information so they can run the story on their stations.
In response, Jericho’s niece, the older sister of the girl attacked in the video, thanked her uncle Chris for his support.
Hey @HillsboroughSch– My niece has been incessantly bullied at #MulrennanMiddleSchool for months. Despite my families pleas, nobody did anything to help…and this was the result a few days ago. If u won’t take action, I’d love to discuss this on @abcactionnews & @wfla ANYTIME! pic.twitter.com/mTUVzbdwuP
