During Wednesday night’s NXT broadcast, Johnny Gargano defeated Ridge Holland in a Second Chance Qualifier for the NXT North American Championship match at NXT Takeover XXX. We reported last week here on eWn that Gargano took a nasty bump on his head during the TV tapings. WWE actually aired the spot (with some editing) during this week’s broadcast. Several GIFS of the incident can be seen below.
During the TV tapings last week, the match was stopped while WWE doctors, Triple H, and Shawn Michaels all came to ringside to check on Gargano. It should be noted that Gargano insisted that he was okay and that the match continue. He was said to have been “very sore” the following day but is doing okay now.
