With WWE putting its NXT UK brand on hiatus until 2023, several wrestlers were released last week. Some of those names include Flash Morgan Webster, Trent Seven, Xia Brookside, Amir Jordan and others. The current plan is for the brand to relaunch as “NXT Europe” next year.
According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, all of the wrestlers who were released will be able to wrestle elsewhere beginning on September 23. Additionally, this is when their paychecks will stop coming in.
It should be noted that some of the wrestlers are able to take outside bookings right now, as the company agreed to let them work with select companies as part of their previous deals.
