— When WWE decided to cancel the Intercontinental Cup tournament less than a day after it was promoted on RAW, it was reportedly just the latest example of the booking team changing things up on the fly. This has been happening at ridiculous rates in recent months. At the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, they contacted numerous names, flew them in and when they arrived backstage at the show they were told they weren’t going to be used. The decision was made so that Wade Barrett could continue his feud with Bo Dallas.
— USA won the cable TV ratings race for the week with an average of 2.87 million viewers; last week’s hours of Raw ranked at #4, #5 and #9 among all hours of cable TV. Disney was #2 with 2.44 million average viewers and TBS was #3 with 2.17 million. F/X ranked #67 at 1.65 million.

— The WWE SmackDown taping on April 16 has been moved to the Thompson-Boling Arena at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee. The show was originally set for the Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina.
