Seth Rollins has announced that he and Kevin Owens will challenge for the RAW Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 38.
On Twitter, the former Universal Champion said that a title match at this April’s two-night event is “on lock” despite reports of the return of ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin.
For the past week, it’s been reported that Austin will return to the ring after a 19-year retirement to face Owens.
Owens has been insulting Texas in recent weeks which is believed to be part of the feud with the Rattlesnake.
WWE has reportedly been waiting on Owens’ involvement in the RAW Tag Team Championship picture to end before starting the storyline with Austin.
Austin’s last match was at WrestleMania 19 in 2003, where he lost to The Rock.
WrestleMania 38 will take place from AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas, on April 2 and 3 this year.
