WWE has announced that they will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the company’s first tag-team champions this week. WWE is using a ‘Tag Team Week’ theme, which will look at the first WWWF World Tag Team Champions, Luke Graham and Tarzan Tyler, after they won a tournament on June 3, 1971.
WWE will be airing several tag team-themed specials on Peacock, WWE Network, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and other digital platforms. The “50 Greatest Tag Teams” special will air on Peacock and the WWE Network on Wednesday.
