WWE recently called Jeff Hardy again, as John Laurinaitis contacted the “Charismatic Enigma” for a potential return and Hall Of Fame induction.
This is according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, but the results weren’t what WWE had hoped for as Hardy turned down the offer and instead asked for his drug tests results, under the strong assumption that he didn’t test positive.
The feeling is that WWE doesn’t want to see Jeff Hardy reform The Hardy Boyz with Matt in AEW, and while Jeff’s 90 day clause expires on March 9th, the duo is already accepting indie bookings.
