WWE is continuously expanding its international presence by hosting pay-per-view events in various countries.
They held Backlash in Puerto Rico and took Money in the Bank to Europe earlier this year. They have already confirmed that next year’s Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event will be held in February at Optus Stadium in Perth, Western Australia, and WWE Bash In Berlin will take place at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin, Germany, in August.
According to a report from Fightful Select, WWE has no plans to slow down on hosting shows overseas as there are internal discussions about potentially holding WWE Backlash in Paris, France, in the spring of 2024, although nothing has been finalized yet.
