According to a report from Sports Business Media, WWE is currently negotiating with broadcasters in the UK and hopes of securing a free-to-air highlight package show for the country.
This would begin in 2020 in an effort to increase exposure for WWE in the United Kingdom following the switch to BT Sport in the UK, which can only be accessed behind a paywall.
If a deal is successfully reached, this will be the first time WWE would be showcasing anything free-to-air in the UK since the early 2000s, when Channel 4
showed a highlights show and occasional main events.
