WWE Looking To Sign New Talents, Another WWE Tryout Camp

— WWE has been looking to sign Division 1 college athletes to their developmental system. Some in the company feel that WWE should be looking at independent wrestling promotions for new talent.

— WWE has reportedly signed a women’s wrestler known as Anya. She is known as the “Russian Bruiser” and is on Twitter @russianbruiser.

— WWE will be holding another tryout camp in Southern California two days after SummerSlam.

— As noted yesterday here on the website, Jim Powers, who appeared for the World Wrestling Federation from 1984 to 1994, will undergo hip replacement surgery Thursday due to the years of abuse he put his body through while working in the professional wrestling industry.
