During Tuesday’s edition of NXT, Io Shirai made her return and went after Candice LeRae & Indi Hartwell, with an added assist from Zoey Stark.
Shirai came out to address the NXT audience and got interrupted by Candice LeRae. LeRae talked about how a lot has changed since Shirai was last there just after NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, but what didn’t change is that she still doesn’t like Shirai. Indi Hartwell jumped Shirai from behind. With Shirai in danger, Stark ran down to ringside to make the save.
