In 2024, WWE may be changing up NXT’s annual event, Stand & Deliver, which has traditionally taken place on the Saturday afternoon before WrestleMania (Night One).
Because of the expansion of WrestleMania to a two-night event, the air time of the show had to be adjusted instead of airing then-TakeOver shows on Saturday night, resulting in the event, now rebranded as Stand & Deliver, being held on Saturday afternoons for the past two years.
However, there are talks of moving the event to a Thursday for next year’s WrestleMania 40 pay-per-view event in Philadelphia, according to WrestleVotes.
On the heels of the CW announcement, I’m told discussions have taken place regarding NXT’s “Stand & Deliver” PLE scheduled for WrestleMania weekend. Those discussions have been about the placement of the show.
Source states there is support for the show to “open” the weekend…
