WWE once again switched up their commentary team during Monday’s RAW broadcast. Michael Cole appeared and said that Samoa Joe and Tom Phillips were “given the week off.” He was then joined by Dolph Ziggler and Byron Saxton.
Cole also filled in for Phillips last week. WWE used the same excuse for Phillips not being on RAW last week, claiming he was “given the week off.” There appears to be more to this story and we’re working on it.
Dolph Ziggler later went on to work several RAW Underground segments and MVP wound up replacing him on commentary for the rest of the show.
