According to a report from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is interested in Matt Hardy. WWE has reportedly sent out feelers to him through intermediaries. While his current TNA Wrestling contract doesn’t expire until the spring of 2017, Triple H is reportedly the guy who is pushing for him to return.
With that being said, Hardy currently has a ton of creative control in regards to his character in TNA Wrestling. Hardy can reportedly make his own schedule (in comparison to a full time WWE schedule which is brutal). Also, he is doing very well financially with his TNA deal, independent dates and very good merchandise sales.
