Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the WWE will hold shows in Saudi Arabia on May 3 while there be another event on November 1 of this year. As of this writing, the venues for these shows have yet to be determined.
It’s well known that WWE had come under some heat because of their relationship with the Saudi Arabian government after it was reported that the government ordered the murder of Jamal Khashoggi.
Despite this, the sports entertainment company is moving forward with their relationship. Last year, WWE signed a 10-year partnership with the Saudi General Sports Authority.
