​WWE SmackDown Rating Is + Some Various News & Notes

— The Friday, May 2nd Extreme Rules “go-home” edition of WWE
SmackDown scored a final cable rating of 1.67 (1.7),
according to Nielsen Media Research. The 1.67 (1.7) final draw marks a pretty
big decrease compared to the 1.77 rating that the show drew the previous
week.

Friday’s SmackDown averaged 2.271 million
viewers, which was down from the 2.670 million viewers who tuned
in the week prior.

— The Pitbulls and 2 Cold Scorpio will receive inductions into
the former ECW Arena’s Hardcore Hall during a show on June 14th, titled “The
Final Cut.” The show will be filmed for the Wrestling with Disaster, with Sabu,
Shane Douglas, The Powers of Pain, The Blue Meanie, Stevie Richards, Angel
Medina, Danny Doring, Bilvis Wesley and Samu all scheduled to appear.

— Matt Hardy won the Maryland Championship Wrestling championship
over the weekend at MCW’s “Xtreme Measures” show in Waldorf, Maryland. Hardy
came out to make the post-match save for Christian York, who had lost the title
to Drolix and was getting a beatdown from Drolix’s Black Wall Street stable.
Hardy challenged Chuck Lennox and Drolix two a succession of matches that if he
won, he would get a title shot but would leave MCW forever if he lost. He won
both matches.

— Low Ki will face Christopher Daniels at Right Coast Pro’s July
26th show in Newark, Delaware in a reprising of their old feuds in ROH and
ECWA.
