WWE WrestleMania: Backlash took place this past Sunday with one title on the line and a six-man tag team match that headlined.

Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the show had a traditional pay-per-view number of 8,200, which would be the second-lowest in company history, excluding NXT TakeOver shows.

The current record for the lowest pay-per-view number in WWE history is from this year’s Elimination Chamber event, which only had 7,800 buys.

Of course, WWE doesn’t rely on traditional buys as they have guaranteed money from Peacock and earn revenue from the WWE Network in international markets.

WWE’s next premium live event is Hell in a Cell on June 5.
